This album represents negative things. While I was not in a bad place at all when I made these songs, I feel as though there's a lot of negativity in the world. The album art represents a dull planet about to collapse in on itself, and there are songs about loneliness, mental disorders, near death experiences, and a very British problem involving tea and biscuits...
The next album will be about positivity, so don't let this album get you down!
- I started this album in secret straight after "Basking in the Sunlight", which means it took this album 10 months to make! (Usually I upload songs as soon as I make them but not with these)
- This album has the longest average song length in any of my albums to date.
- The bonus track is about my cat, Milo, who was nearly put down, and I wrote this song as a goodbye because I love him so much. Luckily, in the end it wasn't necessary to say goodbye yet so I decided to release it as a (Bandcamp exclusive) bonus track so that people could hear it.
- Half the songs on here were originally intended to have lyrics and vocals on them (1, 2, 3, 8), but I feel like I'm not practised enough with mixing vocals and would sort of be alienating half of my current followers (plus I'm horrendous with lyrics). So it probably won't be for an album or two before I actually consider vocals *properly*.
